Domaine Macle Château-Chalon 2008 is a flor-aged white wine produced from Savagnin grapes in the Jura region of France. Laurent Macle has long been noted by connoisseurs as a producer of some of the best oxidative wines in the Jura. This vin jaune from the Château-Chalon appellation is the pinnacle of the domaine`s output and is matured for a minimum of six years in barrel under a layer of flor before bottling. A wine of extraordinary elegance and lively acidity, with an abundance of exotic spice notes and hints of walnut skin on its broad, saline palate.
