Domaine de Trévallon, established in 1973 by Eloi Dürrbach, is a distinguished estate in France`s Alpilles region. The 2011 vintage of their white wine is a blend of Marsanne, Roussanne, and Chardonnay, fermented and aged in oak barrels. This wine presents a complex bouquet of white flowers, honeyed fruit, and subtle oak nuances. On the palate, it offers a harmonious balance of richness and freshness, with notes of citrus, stone fruits, and a touch of minerality. Vincent and Catherine le Calvez, the winemakers behind Trevallon, have cultivated a reputation for their unorthodox methods.
