Over 120 years ago Maurice Vacheron founded a Domaine in the Loire Valley's famed Sancerre region with the acquisition of a single hectare of vineyard. His son Jean expanded the vineyard with three hectares of Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc. The Domaine now rests in the hands of two cousins of the Vacheron family's fourth generation, Jean-Laurent and Jean-Dominique, who have elevated Domaine Vacheron to one of the most highly respected and admired historical producers of Sancerre. Now one of the largest properties in Sancerre to still hand harvest its fruit, Domaine Vacheron became certified biodynamic in 2005.

We're thrilled to welcome both Jean-Laurent and Jean-Dominique Vacheron to guide us through the family's range of Sancerre wines, mostly red, which will most certainly be a treat for those who have never tasted red wines from Sancerre, and especially from Domaine Vacheron.

In this tasting, guests will have the opportunity to taste the following wines:

Vacheron Sancerre Rouge Les Marnes 2015

Vacheron Sancerre Rouge 2022

Each month in our Hedonism Wine School series, we invite you to join our events manager, Sherry Rose Stolar, for a deep dive tasting featuring a selection of wines from a particular region, grape variety or style. This month, Sherry takes us on a journey into the much discussed but often confusing world of 'Natural' wines. What makes a wine 'Natural'? How does it differ from organic, sustainable or biodynamic? And are all natural wines funky, cloudy or 'natty'?

In this tasting, guests will have the opportunity to taste six natural wines of various styles from across winemaking regions, to learn more about this divisive category of wines and dispell some of the rumours and myths associated with it. If you ever wanted to dip your toe into the world of Natural wines and see what they're all about, this is your opportunity to do so.

In this tasting, guests will have the opportunity to taste the following wines:

Girard Bonnet A Mi-Chemin NV

The Flower and the Bee Blanco 2022

Te Whare Ra Gewurztraminer 2020

Alkemi Xinomavro Rose 2022

Brouilly Lapalu Vieilles Vignes 2022

L`Archetipo Aglianico 2014

Tickets to this tasting include a £15 voucher, redeemable on the night against any of the wines tasted.
