Look out for Australia’s Henschke Estate in the Eden Valley for highly sought-after Cabernet-led reds, the Kosher reds of Israel with standout names such as Flam Reserve and Alexander the Great. In the South African region of Franschhoek, producer Boekenhoutskloof uses Cabernet Sauvignon to create beautifully concentrated red wines with a nose of blackberries and blueberries, heightened by aromas of tobacco and spices.
