£2,400.00
Glenlossie is a lesser-known but respected distillery in Scotland’s Speyside region. Founded in 1876 by John Duff and a group of associates, the distillery is situated near Elgin. It is known for producing a light, floral, and slightly oily single malt, a result of its distinctive purifiers installed on the lyne arms of the pot stills.

Now owned by Diageo, Glenlossie primarily contributes to blended whiskies, including the renowned Johnnie Walker range. However, its single malt releases, often found in independent bottlings or as part of the Flora & Fauna series, showcase its elegant and nuanced character. The distillery shares a site with Mannochmore, another Diageo-owned distillery, and benefits from a large dunnage and racked warehouse complex for cask maturation. This Glenlossie new make cask, filled in March 2025 at 63.5% ABV, captures the distillery’s light, fruity, and slightly oily style. Aged in a first-fill Bourbon barrel, expect a maturation marked by notes of vanilla, honey, and coconut, complementing Glenlossie’s grassy and floral character.
