Domaine Dugois Vin Jaune 2016 is a full-bodied, flor-aged white wine produced from Savagnin grapes in the Jura region of France. Founded by Daniel Dugois in 1973, Domaine Dugois is situated 5km from Arbois in the Jura. Made from hand-harvested Savagnin, this Vin Jaune is the flagship wine of the domaine. Comparable to a Fino Sherry style, the Savagnin grapes have been aged under a thin `veil` of yeast, known as flor` in oak barrels for a minimum of six years, resulting in a wonderfully nutty and complex wine, with dried fruit character, ginger notes and a lingering, rich, savoury finish.
