Glendronach Single Cask Archive Selection
The Glendronach Single Cask Series Batch 10, released in 2014, featured a selection of single malt Scotch whiskies drawn from individual casks. The whiskies in this batch were distilled in the early to mid 1990s and matured in a mix of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Each bottling was chosen to showcase the influence of long-term sherry cask maturation, a hallmark of the Glendronach distillery.
The whiskies were bottled at natural cask strength, without chill filtration or added colouring, to retain their original character. Outturns ranged from ~200 bottles to ~700 bottles per cask. As with all Glendronach single cask releases, each bottle labelled to indicate the cask number, distillation date, and bottling year. The whiskies offered a range of profiles reflecting their specific cask maturation, with typical notes of dried fruits, toasted nuts, baking spices, and dark chocolate - a sherry cask lover's dream.
We're delighted to offer a limited parcel of whiskies from this release, just six bottles of each.
