Jacques Puffeney Arbois Vin Jaune 2011 is a medium-bodied white wine from the Jura region of France. Jacques Puffeney is a revered name in the Arbois sub region of the Jura, France. Made from 100% Savagnin, the signature variety of the Jura made in the traditional Vin Jaune style. Comparable to a Fino Sherry style, the wine is made from Savagnin grapes that are barrel aged under a thin `veil` of yeast, resulting in a wonderfully nutty complex wine, with dried fruit character, citrus notes and refreshing acidity.
