Domaine Michel Gahier Arbois Vin Jaune 2015 is a full-bodied white wine produced from Savignin grapes in the Jura region of France. Located in the village of Montigny-les-Arsures close to Arbois, Domaine Michel Gahier is a 7ha biodynamically farmed domaine focusing on terroir-driven wines, principally made from Trousseau, but also Chardonnay, Melon le Queue Rouge and Savagnin. Michel`s Vin Jaune uses Savignin grapes from his finest plots. The wine ages `sous voile` (under flor) in old oak barrels for around seven years. Gahier believes his Vins Jaunes require 10-20 years, depending on the vintage, to fully develop.
