This is a different clone of Nebbiolo, named Vite Talin, which can be traced back to a single vine discovered by Luciano three decades ago. Currently, the production comes from 2,000 vines distributed across three vineyards. The tiny berries offer an intense, concentrated wine that goes beyond the influence of the specific terroir. ‘Vite Talin’ undergoes an extended extraction process lasting nearly two months, followed by ageing in 50% new oak barrels for two years. After this, it spends an additional three years in the bottle before being made available for sale.
