Le Pergole Torte 2015 is a full-bodied Sangiovese red wine from the Tuscany region of central Italy. The international reputation of Montevertine`s Le Pergole Torte speaks for itself. The first vintage released was the 1977 and was the first 100% Sangiovese wine to be produced in Radda, in Chianti area. The grapes are carefully selected from Montevertine`s oldest vineyards, planted between 1968 and 1999. Aged for one year in Allier oak barriques and one year in Slavonian oak barrels.
