This is yet another sublime release from Bruno Rocca of his entry-level Barbaresco from the warm 2017 vintage. Made from Nebbiolo sourced from slightly younger vines grown in three high-class vineyards in Neive, this is an impeccably balanced wine that belies the hot nature of the vintage, exhibiting wonderful aromatics and remarkable finesse. Perhaps best left for another year or so, this should easily age for 10 to 15 years.
