In 1982, the legendary Bruno Giacosa, purchased 25ha of the Falletto vineyard in Serralunga d’Alba and has cemented its status as one of the most revered wines from the region. 100% Nebbiolo, the 2004 was reviewed by the critic James Suckling as follows, "So floral and beautiful with roses and lilacs. Hints of plums and strawberries. Full-bodied, with ultra fine tannins and a subtle yet intense finish of hazelnut and dark fruits. Goes on for ages."
