El Enemigo and the Bodega Aleanna represent a joint venture between Adrianna Catena and Alejandro Vigil, chief winemaker at Bodega Catena Zapata since 2002. ‘El Enemigo’, which translates to ‘the enemy’, represents their shared philosophy of challenging conventions and pushing boundaries to create wines of exceptional quality and distinct character. The grapes for this release come from El Cepillo, an area in Uco Valley with cooler temperatures. It is a well-balanced Cabernet Franc, boasting notes of cherries, plums, liquorice and a hint of rosemary.
