Proprietà Sperino, situated in the Lessona DOC of Alto Piemonte, has been overseen by Paolo de Marchi`s son, Luca, with a remarkable level of passion and expertise. While earlier vintages of this Cabernet Franc were commendable but not outstanding, recent years have showcased its true potential. Diverging from the traditional profile of Lessona wines, it displays a judicious use of oak, offering flavours of blackcurrant and mint without overwhelming the palate.
