Joseph Roty is one of the smaller Domaines in Burgundy, but one with a solid fanbase. It boasts one of the largest concentrations of old vines in the region, averaging 65 years. Pressonnier was a plot designated as village Gevrey-Chambertin until 1964 when boundary changes saw it declassified. The wine has clearly the profile of a good Gevrey and ages very well.
