Domaine Labruyère is the Beaujolais estate of the influential vigneron family behind Champagne Labruyère and Burgundy producer Jacques Prieur. This particular cuvée hails from a 1.75-hectare single vineyard where the vines are on average 50 years old. The 2017 vintage was aged for 18 months in oak barrels [7% new] and in 600-litre barrels – called ‘demi-muid’, and later finished in concrete vats. Expect a fruity and floral Beaujolais, with notes of liquorice and very fine tannins.
