Domaine Eric de Suremain Château de Monthélie Le Clou des Chênes 2020 is a 1er Cru Burgundy Pinot Noir from the Côte de Beaune. Biodynamic farming practices, very lowest yields (often comparable with Domaine Leroy, for example), rigorous grape selection and a minimal-intervention winemaking all contribute to making the wines of this domaine some of the purest and most terroir-transparent in the Côte de Beaune. The 1er Cru plot of Le Clou de Chênes is located high on a slope of limestone-rich marl close to the border with Volnay.
