Based in the small village of Valle Talloria d’Alba, Giordano has been producing wines since the early 20th century. Its vineyard holdings have expanded substantially since the 1930s, and today Giordano is one of the largest Italian wine companies for direct sales and exports. This particular release is a rare bottle of Barolo from 1971, arguably the best vintage of the decade.
