Based in the village of Serralunga d`Alba, Fontanafredda is a historic property which can be traced back to 1858. Today the estate covers approximately 85 hectares, mostly planted to Nebbiolo along with Barbera, Dolcetto and Moscato. This mature Barolo is from 1967, when nature favoured Italy, blessing both Tuscany and Piedmont with an exceptionally fine vintage.
