Cavallotto Barolo Bricco Boschis 1971 is a mature-vintage Nebbiolo red wine from the Barolo appellation of Piedmont, northern Italy. Since 1928, the Cavallotto family has owned the estate Tenuta Bricco Boschis. In 1946, they were the first cultivators in Castiglione Falletto to vinify all of their estate’s fruit. In 1948 they released the first bottling of their own BAROLO wine, with the label and registered trademark of Cavallotto. The 1971 Piedmont vintage is considered the best of that decade and arguably is one of the best of the second half of the 20th century, producing many long-lived Barolo wines.
