GB Burlotto Barolo Acclivi 2010 is a full-bodied Nebbiolo red wine from the Barolo appellation of northern Italy. Founded in 1850 in the historic Barolo village of Verduno, this Italian winery is named after its founder, Giovan Battista Burlotto. Barolo Acclivi is produced from the steep slopes of the historic vineyards of Verduno, the northernmost municipality of the Barolo area. "Made from a blend of top vineyard sites in Verduno, this balanced Barolo has a wonderful fragrance of woodland berries, new leather, intense balsamic notes and menthol. The smooth palate weaves together juicy red cherry, herbs, sweet spices and mineral notes alongside velvety, enveloping tannins and brisk acidity." Wine Enthusiast, 2013
