De Buris 2009 displays a bright, deep ruby red colour. On the nose, it is taut and extremely fine, with typical aromas of both sour and sweet black cherries that evolve into notes of spices and cocoa. The palate offers high-toned, vibrant yet delicate fruit. Despite its concentration, the wine doesn’t have a weighty taste, but instead a very pleasant mouthfeel. The silky tannins provide a delightful viscosity on the lingering finish.
