Wölffer Estate Vineyard was established in 1988 and spans approximately 470 acres, including the 55 acre sustainably farmed vineyard in Sagaponack, NY, and 52 acres on the North Fork of Long Island. The combination of Bridgehampton loam soil and breezes from the Atlantic Ocean provides maritime conditions ideally suited to producing wines with perfect balance of ripeness and acidity.
The Grapes of Roth is winemaker, Roman Roth’s, private label. It is 100% Riesling from Long Island and is characterised by lively acidity and just a hint of sweetness. A versatile food-pairing wine, it matches well with richer, creamier dishes but also spicier, Asian-influenced fare.
