The Clos des Réas is a historical premier cru in Vosne-Romanée and a monopole of the Gros family. The vineyard was acquired by Alphonse Gros in 1860 and has stayed within the family ever since. Its wines are today vinified and marketed under Domaine Michel Gros. The 2006 is a beautifully developed wine, smooth and seductive, boasting notes of crushed cherries, Asian spices and undergrowth, all complemented by soft tannins.
