The Aux Réas lieu-dit is a small vineyard in the Vosne-Romanée appellation of Burgundy. It is an extension of the Premier Cru ‘Clos de Réas’, and the wines are often considered to be of equal quality. In 2021, 30% of the grapes in the Aux Réas vineyard were whole bunches, and 30% of the wine was aged in new oak barrels. A portion of the vineyard has been replanted in recent years, which has reduced production. The nose of the wine is floral and red fruit-forward, with hints of sweetness and spice. The palate is full-bodied and complex, with supple tannins and plenty of tension. This is a top-tier Vosne-Romanée with a devoted fanbase.
