Vendange Tardive Gewurztraminer Hugel 2010

HED93332 75cl 12%
Domaine Hugel Vendange Tardive Gewürztraminer 2010 is a late-harvest Gewürztraminer from the historic family domaine of Hugel, founded in 1639 in Riquewihr, Alsace. Justly celebrated for its wines - everything from its entry-level varietal bottlings through to its Grands Crus, and Vendanges Tardives and Sélection de Grains Nobles wines - Hugel is now run by 13th generation family winemakers, Jean-Frédéric and Marc-André. Hugel Vendange Tardive is only made in the very best vintages. "A lush and creamy vendange tardive, this is closer to off-dry than full-on sweet, as the vivid backbone of acidity keeps this fresh and mouthwatering throughout, enlivening the range of baked melon, dried apricot, spun honey and sliced almond flavours. Citrus, smoke and spice notes echo on the finish. Drink now through 2025." Wine Spectator, 2018
