Simi Cabernet Sauvignon 1935 is an historic red wine from Simi Winery in the Sonoma Valley of California. Simi Winery was founded in Healdsberg, Sonoma, in 1876. This extraordinary bottling comes from the 1935 vintage, just two years after the ending of Prohibition in the US. Simi was one of the few Californian wineries to survive Prohibition and, thanks to winemaker Isabelle Simi`s determination to continue making and storing wine during that period, also one which boasted a very healthy stock of mature wines when selling wine became legal again. A highly collectible bottle from the heyday of Californian winemaking.
