Giacomo Fenocchio Roero Arneis 2023 is a medium-bodied white wine from the Piedmont region of northern Italy. The Giacomo Fenocchio wine estate in Monforte d`Alba has been managed by fifth-generation winemaker Claudio Fenocchio since 1989 and is best known for crafting fine, long-lived Barolos. This Roero Arneis reveals Claudio`s craftmanship with white grapes, however. Arneis means ‘little rascal’ in Piemontese and the grape was given this name because it has a reputation for being difficult to grow. It is a crisp and floral variety and has been cultivated for centuries in the Roero region. From this 2023 wine, expect subtle aromas of wildflowers with hints of camomile, along with a rounded, pleasantly tangy palate that tapers to a long finish.
