Jean Monnier represents a domaine with a lineage spanning seven generations, consistently delivering exceptional wine quality. Robert Parker praised their wines enthusiastically, stating, ‘an estate whose wines I recommend with much enthusiasm’. Established in 1720, the domaine is presently overseen by Jean-Claude and Nicolas Monnier. This particular cuvée is sourced from Clos de Cîteaux, a monopole nestled within the confines of `Les Epenots.` The 2010 vintage in Burgundy was notably strong, and these wines are currently displaying their best qualities.
