The 2011 Peter Michael ‘Les Pavots’ is a blend of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot. The wine displays a deep ruby colour and offers complex aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and blueberry, along with hints of tobacco, cedar and graphite. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, showcasing ripe dark fruit flavours, fine-grained tannins, and well-integrated oak. Its bright acidity provides a refreshing balance to the rich flavours, leading to a long, persistent finish.
