Château Malescot St Exupéry is a Third Growth wine producer situated in the Margaux appellation. Owned by the Zuger family since the 1950s, the estate includes 23 hectares under vine and the best vineyards share the same deep, grave soils as their neighbour Château Margaux. The 2019 vintage is a blend of 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot, aged for 16 months in new oak and bottled without filtration or fining. It’s a full-bodied wine, marked by notes of red cherries, liquorice, violets and dark chocolate.
