The 2015 Lafleur-Gazin remains quite powerful and intense, but now shows much better balance, especially in its tannins, than it did from barrel. Super-ripe red cherry, tobacco, dried flowers, herbs and spices add layers of complexity. I expect the 2015 will offer its best drinking sooner rather than later, as the flavors are already a touch advanced and roasted in profile. - Antonio Galloni
