This small yet extremely prestigious Right Bank appellation is the home to some of the world’s most sought-after red wines. The stand out variety here is Merlot, together with a smaller percentage of Cabernet Franc. This classic blend results in wonderfully plush, full-bodied wines balanced by high alcohol, fresh acidity, beautifully structured tannins and powerful concentration of fruit, with notes of red and black plums coming to the fore.
