Cascina Fontana is a family-owned winery situated in the heart of Barolo, within the quaint hamlet of Perno. Their estate covers approximately 5 hectares of vineyards planted to Dolcetto, Barbera, and Nebbiolo. This Langhe Nebbiolo is crafted from grapes harvested in the historic vineyard of Castello di Sinio, combined with a smaller portion from the `Il Pozzo` cru in Castiglione Falletto. Expect a multi-layered wine that conjures notes of rose petals, fresh wild strawberries, and hints of balsamic.
