Remoissenet Père & Fils operates both as a producer and négociant, having access to some of Burgundy’s finest vineyards. The Maison was an independent, family-owned business until 2005, when it was sold to a consortium headed up by Edward L. Millstein, an American Burgundy enthusiast. This is a rare bottle from 1969 Clos Saint-Jacques, arguably Gevrey-Chambertin`s most prestigious Premier Cru. Now fully mature, wines from the 1969 vintage coincided with the phenomenal moon landing.
