Travaglini Gattinara is a distinguished family-owned wine producer based in Piedmont, renowned for its Nebbiolo-based wines. The estate`s 44 hectares of meticulously cultivated vineyards in Gattinara serve as the foundation for their winemaking endeavours. Established in 1920 by Clemente Travaglini, the estate`s legacy was later passed on to his son, Arturo Travaglini, in 1958. Today, the operations are under the leadership of Cinzia Travaglini, while her husband, Massimo Collauto, serves as the chief winemaker. This release is from the 1983 vintage, known for producing wines that are enjoyable to drink now, offering a balance of fruit and secondary notes that come with ageing.
