Ezio Poggio has earned a reputation as a flagbearer for the white grape variety Timorasso. It`s thanks to him that the sub-region of Terre di Libarna, between Piedmont and Liguria, exists. The only producer in this until-recently-overlooked terroir on the north side of the Apennine mountains, Poggio produces Timorasso of rare elegance, poise and ageability, with intense herbal and mineral notes and taut acidity.
