Alta Mora Etna Bianco 2022 is a medium-bodied white wine produced from Carricante grapes in the Etna sub-region of Sicily. Alta Mora is a relatively new project of the Cusumano family and is one of the best starting points for exploring the wines of Mt Etna, Sicily. The Carricante grapes grow on volcanic soil at around 600m altitude in Milo and Castiglione di Sicilia. Aged for a short time on lees in steel tank, this wine displays a classic flinty volcanic nose of Etna white wines, offering layers of fresh and dried fruit, with subtle notes of white flowers. The palate is crisp and clean with citrus and pear-led fruits, and a fine line of mouth-watering saline minerality.
