This is a delicious and classically styled red from the Côtes du Rhône made from a blend of 85% Grenache with lesser parts Syrah and Mourvèdre. The 2017 vintage was warm and dry, producing grapes rich in fruit flavour but balanced with fresh acidity and perfectly ripe tannins. Plummy, spicy and with subtle herbal streaks, this would be a lovely wine to pair with roasted meats or chargrilled Mediterranean vegetables.
