Clos des Plantes Poïèsis 2020 is a natural Chenin Blanc from the Anjou region of France`s Loire Valley. This sought-after cuvée was made by winemaker Olivier Lejeune, who trained under the much-admired Chenin producer Mark Angeli of La Ferme de la Sansonnière. The wine was fermented in steel tank and used 225l and 450l barrels, then racked to barrel for eight months before being bottled with a small addition of sulphur. Complex and textured with notes of honey, baked pear and lemon, fine acidity and a very long finish.
