Ahrens Family Wines Koffieklip Chenin Blanc 2021 is a medium-bodied, single-vineyard white wine from the Swartland of South Africa. The Ahrens Family Winery was founded in 2008 by Albert and Heidi Ahrens. Albert has over 25 years of experience in winemaking, and has worked in Champagne, Priorat, and the Rhône Valley. The estate is based in the Paarl Valley and produces a range of wines from different grape varieties, including Sauvignon Blanc, Roussanne, Grenache, and Shiraz. This release is a Chenin Blanc from a 1984 Swartland bush-vine vineyard. The dry arid climate of the Swartland produces a warm and rich expression, showcasing ripe balanced fruit with intense colour.
