Vincent Dancer Chassagne-Montrachet La Romanée 2015 is a full-bodied Burgundy white wine from the Premier Cru climat of La Romanée in the Chassagne-Montrachet commune of the Côte de Beaune. Originally from Alsace, Vincent Dancer has been making exceptional wines in Chassagne-Montrachet since 1996. This release is his La Romanée, a south and south east-facing, organically farmed vineyard where the vines were planted in 1994 and 1980. This is the richest and most consistent Chassagne-Montrachet Dancer produces. "Firm reduction presently blocks an evaluation of the nose. By contrast there is fine vibrancy and freshness to the rich and relatively full-bodied flavours that retain a certain refinement despite the evident size, weight and power of the mineral-inflected finish. If there is a nit it`s that this is not as persistent as some of the best wines in the range yet my sense is that this will ultimately come together." Burghound, 2017
