Distillerie Berta is a leading family-owned grappa producer based in Piedmont, northern Italy. The Riserva del Fondatore is a limited-edition release to celebrate the memory of founder, Paolo Berta and the creation of his first distillery in 1947. It is a special selection of ten different vintages from Berta’s library stock of grappa. It is a rich and rounded grappa with wonderfully seductive notes of ripe fruits, tobacco, cacao, vanilla and spice. Smooth and extremely long-lasting on the palate, this makes an excellent post-dinner digestif.
