A fully mature Barolo from Giuseppe Mascarello, one of the most illustrious names in Barolo winemaking. Mascarello`s main vineyard holdings are located in Monprivato, one of Barolo’s most prized crus. The Mascarello Barolos of the 50s and 60s were among the great wines of that era. The 1974 vintage in Barolo was a good one, coming after two successive cooler vintages producing earlier-drinking Nebbiolos.
