Giuseppe Mascarello e Figlio is one of the oldest family-owned estates in Piedmont, going back to the late 19th century. Since 1968 the property has been run by Mauro Mascarello and his wife Maria-Teresa, assisted by his children Giuseppe and Elena. This particular Barolo hails from the Santo Stefano di Perno vineyard, which has been owned by the family since 1989. It is from an early-drinking vintage, that will give great pleasure to Nebbiolo geeks and newcomers alike.
