Barolo Margheria Azelia 2013
Azelia, a family estate with deep roots in the Barolo region, has been producing wine since 1920. The Margheria vineyard, located in the Serralunga d`Alba area, benefits from its particularly favorable microclimate and soil composition. The 2013 growing season was marked by a warm summer followed by cooler temperatures in September, allowing for slow and even ripening. Aging in large, traditional Slavonian oak casks imparts structure while allowing the wine to develop complexity over time, promising further evolution with age.
