Situated in the village of La Morra, Marcarini is a wine estate with approximately 25 hectares of vineyard, spanning both the Langhe and Roero regions. This particular Barolo comes from a 4-hectare single vineyard called ‘La Serra’, where the vines were planted in 1992 and 2002. Now a fully mature 40-year-old wine, it reveals some rhubarb and root vegetable notes along with black earth, dark chocolate, fig and rose petals.
