Based in La Morra, Beni di Batasiolo is a relatively large wine producer with approximately 106 hectares of vineyards. The estate was formed by the Dogliani brothers in 1978 but the family has a long history in the Piedmontese wine industry dating back to the 1880s. This particular Barolo was produced in 1961, an excellent vintage for both Piedmont and Tuscany. The wine is still very enjoyable now.
