Cordero di Montezemolo Barolo 1971 is a fully mature Nebbiolo red wine from the Barolo appellation of Piedmont, northern Italy. Located in the heart of the La Morra sub-zone of Barolo, the Cordero family farms 28 hectares of vineyards and is one of just a handful of wineries that owns contiguous vineyards in the appellation. The 1971 Piedmont vintage is considered the best of that decade and arguably is one of the best of the second half of the 20th century, producing many long-lived Barolo and Barbaresco wines.
